Elevating the home maintenance experience
Amica was looking to revamp their Home Check app. The app had an avid user group, but they were hoping to create a more feature-rich app to please current users and gain new users. However, they were unsure about the best path forward. Nova was brought in to assist in aligning their internal vision and crafting a design strategy to achieve their goals.
The Challenge
We began the project with a series of Slingshot workshops to dig deeper into the potential new features and paths they were potentially interested in pursuing. These workshops served as a crucial platform, providing Amica with essential insights to facilitate their decision-making process. Simultaneously, we conducted a comprehensive audit of the existing app, enabling us to make informed design choices. By assessing the app's current landscape, we offered recommendations for screen design and flows to deliver the greatest benefits.
Our Solution
The result of our efforts resulted in the formulation of a comprehensive app roadmap for Amica. Additionally, we delivered a refreshed visual identity and user experience for the app, aligning it with the envisioned direction and objectives.
