Bose VB-S
A video conferencing system for huddle rooms, small businesses, and compact spaces.
The Bose VB-S improves remote collaboration experiences. Remote participants see lifelike video and hear presenters without the distraction of background noise from the system’s 4 microphones and noise rejection algorithms. Bose needed a design partner that was knowledgeable about audio products and understood the Bose design language to assist in the launch of the Bose Work line.
The Challenge
Nova took the successful Bose VB1 video bar and designed a compact, integrated all-in-one solution appropriate for small meeting spaces up to 10x10 feet, including huddle rooms. The compact size allows users to move the product and the USB-C connectivity allows them to set it up in minimal time, critical for today’s fast-paced business environment. The VB-S has a 4k camera for engaging, true-life video. Users want a way to know the device is on and working but we did not want the feedback to interfere with the overall design of the product. We explored a variety of UI options and ultimately selected the option that informed the user that the video was on but did not distract participants.
Our Solution
The product has been widely successful since its launch in June of 2022. The product received Best in Show at the 2022 InfoComm Expo. It has also received praise in various tech and business publications since its launch.
